and to karen rogers. good morning. >> well, it does look like we get rain tomorrow changing over to wet snow and there is a winter storm watch that has now been extended from the poconos down to the delaware river, the city of trenton and mercer county also interested in as well as points north. you have to go back into central pennsylvania before you see an ends to this. again rain changing to wet snow, less of it down in the i-95 corridor, more of it as you move closer to the lehigh valley and poconos. for today, all we've got on the map is a little bit of a sprinkle down by cape may county and southern delaware. overall we're looking at a mix of clouds and sun today. and temperatures this morning aren't too bad. 57 degrees in philadelphia, same thing in allentown. less wind than yesterday. 59 in wilmington, still in the low 60's in millville and the upper 50's down at the shore. as we head out the door to get that car started or catch that bus we're looking at relatively comfortable condition, temps in the mid up to are 50's around six or 8 o'clock. on the way to school or anywhere else you got to go today you're looking at temperatures holding into the 50's for most of the day.

stick to bensalem boulevard because they've shut down that road, matt and tam. >> okay, thank you karen. and of course this is breaking right now. our big story, protests continue in ferguson missouri and across america after prosecutors announce a grand jury's decision not to indict officer darren wilson. >> he is of course the white officer who shot and killed michael brown an unarmed black teenager. the news that there will be no charges set off a violent night. protests had been building for days. they finally boiled over last night with people smashing windows and looting stores. they also started fires all over ferguson. in some cases it was so violent firefighters couldn't stay on the scene and were forced to allow some fires to burn but at other scenes the fire fight was full on. >> now, we'll have a live report from ferguson for you in just a few minutes but the protests didn't stop in missouri. they spread to cities across america including right here in philadelphia. our katherine scott is live at city hall and katherine, it was a much different story in our area and as well police

say they were ready. >> reporter: they were ready, tam. there was a large police presence out here and protesters are expected out here at city hall again this afternoon. there was a lot of anger last night a-lot of disappointment as people marched across philadelphia but they kept things peaceful and the hope is it will stay that way. >> no probable cause exists to file any charges against officer wilson. >> reporter: boos and chants erupted outside philadelphia city hall. the moment after the grand jury announcement came out of ferguson, month movement hundreds of protesters and supporters of michael brown showed their disappointment and their shock across center city. >> this is ridiculous. i'm just -- i'm just kind of choking, i'm sorry. it's ridiculous, the fact that -- the fact that there's no probable cause. >> reporter: demonstrators demanded action against ferguson police officer darren wilson hoping the u.s. justice department will now step in. mayor michael nutter was among

those who expressed disappointment. >> they have botched this entire tragedy so badly from start to finish that it has left obviously the folks in ferguson beyond disappointed and i would say for myself just disgusted with how this entire matter has been handled. >> reporter: protesters marred through -- marched through the streets. philadelphia police received help from pennsylvania state police and the fire department. officers say the demonstrations were peaceful and say only two were taken into custody when the protesters tried to marion to 95. >> we do have to ensure the safety of the protesters and that would have created a completely unsafe and hazardous situation for the protesters as well as for the motorists up on 95. >> reporter: and police say it's unclear if the two people who were taken into custody will actually be charged.

again, protesters are expected out again this afternoon. they're expected to gather around 3 o'clock here at city hall for a march. we're live at city hall, katherine scott, channel6 "action news" there thanks katherine. the family of michael brown and president obama himself pleaded with those who were upset with the grand jury's decision to be constructive in their protests, any other destructive. clearly not everyone was listening. abc's karen travers is live in ferguson with more on what is happening there right now. good morning, karen. >> reporter: good morning, matt. law enforcement officials say they did not see a the lot of peaceful protesting overnight here in ferguson. there were about a dozen buildings set on fire commissioner almost all of them at a complete loss. there were around 30 arrests made and 14 people were treated for injuries at local hospitals. violence erupting overnight in ferguson a dramatic scene far worse than the protest that is took place immediately after michael brown's shooting death in august.

gun shots reported just steps from the police station here. police cars set on fire. tear gas launched into the angry crowd. >> when i looked at our community torn apart. >> reporter: before the saint louis county prosecutors announcement about the grand jury's decision, state and local leaders made public pleas for calm. >> i'd like to reiterate my call for peace, respect and restraint. >> reporter: president obama weighed in from the white house. >> the situation in ferguson speaks to broader challenges that we still face as a nation. >> reporter: the 12 jurors reviewing brown's death met on 25 separate days over a period of three months. they heard more than 70 hours of testimony from about 60 witnesses including wilson himself and eyewitnesses to the shooting. the prosecutor's office released more than 1,000 pages of grand jury evidence, a move intended to make the secretive process transparent. wilson testified that brown hit him. he told the grand jury i felt

>> it's not going to be a whole lot. >> no, it's mostly wet snow and i think in philadelphia roads are mainly wet. nonetheless afternoon travel is not going to be great tomorrow. storm tracker 6 live double scan shows you we're mainly dry. a light sprinkle and shower just off the coast of cape may and those in cape may county and perhaps coastal delaware may catch a little bit of that this morning. as we take a look outside we have sky 6. there's the airport and the camera not wiggling around as much as it was yesterday because the winds are much lighter. 57 degrees in philadelphia. we've seen that number drop quite a bit over the last couple hours out of the 60's. winds are out of the west at 8 miles per hour, so cool but fairly comfortable this morning. there's that rain i showed you. a lot of cloud cover over the i-95 corridor, down past and washington right now but as we roll through the day we're expect something sun to return and overall it's a clouds and sun mix. temperatures are going to be cooler than yesterday but still a bit above average. 56 degrees by 8 o'clock, 57 by 11 o'clock. that is your high and i think we might be holding that until about plan to or maybe 12:30 or so. my 2 o'clock we're do you 55.

by 5 o'clock the low 50's. high temperatures across the region, these are all early afternoon highs for the most part. 60 in millville, 60 in cape may. 62 in atlantic city and 55 in allentown. officially your high for today might actually be above these numbers but that would be because in the wee hours of the morning we were higher. i'm giving you what i expect to be the afternoon high which i think is more practical. as we take a look at future tracker 6 overnight tonight by about 3 o'clock to 4:00 a.m. we will be looking at the arrival of some rain. so, this precipitation tomorrow will begin as rain. won't be cold enough for snow early. nonetheless travel conditions from about philadelphia south during our morning broadcast a little hindered. 10 o'clock the rain is pushing up to allentown and by then we're starting to see some bits and pieces of changeover to wet snow. something we'll be tracking on storm tracker 6 live double scan for you tomorrow. then by noon to 2 o'clock you see how it's changed over to all wet snow in the northern suburbs and even philadelphia

may be starting to change over as soon as one or 2 o'clock in the afternoon. and then we go later into the afternoon and into the rush hour and you can see how that snow does briefly dip down into south jersey. now, the good news about this is that it looks like it gets out of here fairly quickly so if you have travel plans tomorrow and you want to do it in the morning before that changeover up until about 10 o'clock or maybe later than that in philadelphia, you're probably in pretty good shape. it's basically just rain and if you can hold off travel until later tomorrow evening as this is all winding down you're probably in better shape. the worst is going to be during the afternoon. so, what to expect. northwestern suburbs quickly changing to wet snow as you just saw at some point during the morning n philadelphia, it's rain in through the early afternoon in all likelihood and then that change to wet snow. in south jersey and delaware it's mainly rain with maybe just a few flakes at the end that probably won't amount to all that much. what are we plooking a at? in terms of consume it's mainly rain down the shore and across much of south jersey and delaware. we're still going for the potential of a one to three wet snow accumulation mainly

on grassy surfaces in the i-95 corridor and then the farther you step up into the northern and western suburbs the better chance you have of getting maybe 3 to 6 inches and that might compromise road conditions a bit with some slippery travel. drivers concerns rain will be changing to big wet flakes so even in areas where it's mainly just making the roads wet the visibility is not going to be great. the worst time period along i-95 will be during the afternoon. the best travel of all is probably later at night after this whole thing winds down. your exclusive accuweather 7-day, today 57 degrees, not a bad day, just not as nice as yesterday, partly sunny ann little cooler. tomorrow we have snow northwest of philadelphia eventually, rain south and east. it starts as rain everywhere before the changeover. a high of 40 but that's fairly early. temperatures will dip into the 30's as that rain starts. then thursday brisk and chilly for thanks give. precipitation dies down late the previous night, though, so i think road conditions should be pretty good. but we'll be in the 30's for the thanksgiving day parade and only 42 for a high. hey, shoppers, on friday a
